What the Mumbai team did so wrong in the first match of the tournament was to strategise poorly. There was no mind put behind the bowling attack, and the bowling changes went so awry that one cannot help but think that Sachin Tendulkar could have done better.

South Australia had a decent first game, but the credit must be afforded to their captain, Michael Klinger and the Aussie international Callum Ferguson for the manner in which they batted.
