Liverpool are set to renew their interest in Newcastle left back Jose Enrique especially after it emerged that they were no longer the favorites to land Gael Clichy from Arsenal, after the Frenchman opted for Manchester City. Over the last 6 months, Enrique has been on the Liverpool management's sights, and they will now focus their efforts on landing him. The player has only one year on his contract, and could opt to see out the term, and leave on a free on the next transfer. He has also refused to sign a new deal that would keep him at the club, and manager Alan Pardew has been forced to come to terms with the fact that there is no way he is remaining at the club. With the kind of talent and the interest already being shown in the player, he is thought to be valued by his team at £10 million, of which the suitors will have to come up with in the event that they are to prize him away
