Elsewhere, Hamburg finally got their season up and running with a 2-1 win over Stuttgart, while Bayern Munich cast a huge doubt over Bayer Leverkusen's title credentials with a comfortable 3-0 victory.
Wolfsburg also managed a 1-0 triumph over Kaiserslautern despite playing the whole second half with ten men, while Schalke put four past Freiburg.

Hamburg end Stevens interest

Hamburg have reportedly withdrawn their interest in reappointing former coach Huub Stevens.
HSV sporting director Frank Arnesen held talks with Stevens over the weekend but returned dissatisfied after the Dutchman indicated he also wanted to meet with Schalke.
Both Hamburg and Schalke are searching for a new coach after the former sacked Michael Oenning last week while Ralf Rangnick resigned from the latter due to exhaustion.
Schalke now appear to be favourites to snare 57-year-old Stevens, who enjoyed a successful 16-month spell at Hamburg between 2007 and 2008.
After Arnesen was reported to have claimed HSV wanted a coach who was "100% committed to them", [...]

Past Incidents Of Deliberate Pakistani Attacks Against U.S. Personnel Becoming Public

Pakistanis attacked Americans and Afghans in Teri Mangal. The New York Times

Pakistanis Tied to 2007 Border Ambush on Americans -- New York Times

KABUL, Afghanistan — A group of American military officers and Afghan officials had just finished a five-hour meeting with their Pakistani hosts in a village schoolhouse settling a border dispute when they were ambushed — by the Pakistanis.

An American major was killed and three American officers were wounded, along with their Afghan interpreter, in what fresh accounts from the Afghan and American officers who were there reveal was a complex, calculated assault by a nominal ally. The Pakistanis opened fire on the Americans, who returned fire before escaping in a blood-soaked Black Hawk helicopter.

Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 26th September 2011 Written Update

Episode begins with the three bandits & PriAm in the monitor room having just finished watching the footage of Viks taking the necklace & placing it into his pockets. Chorni Maa drives home Viks dishonesty into Ram but Ram refuses firmly to believe what he saw. He emphatically tells Niharika," Vikram is no thief. This is all a mistake" ( Go,Ram!) That shuts her up, the b. Ram tells her he, only he will be the one to talk to Vikram. Thus saying he walks out & the three follow him out. A shocked & confused Priya too turns to follow them but stops midway. She notices that one of the monitor is turned off as per the promo. (How typical! Ab bahu ban gayi hai Pippu toh the makers haven't wasted any time to start her on her jasoosi spree. Serial bahus cook & clean or not but they always solve a "who-dun-it" in their sasural)

PriAm & the three bandits are still conferring with the Bandit Queen telling Ram to hold his horses till the guests are gone but Ram is having none of it & is off to confront Vics.Priya follows him anguished. The three smile evilly.(What original never seen before expressions)

Neha & her daughter in the downstairs hall where most of the guest have left. Riddhi wants to go home & Neha playfully scolds her that she should have gone home with her brothers earlier. Vicks arrives there & Neha tells him he missed the "Haar Pehnaoing" ceremony & then proceeds to tell him in detail about the ritual. Vikram is confused as how can Niharika present any necklace to Priya when he is having it. Ram comes there & asks to speak to Viks privately. Vics says he too has something to tell Ram & both leave for their usual brainstorming corner Neha tries to [...]

Not Enough Helium To Keep America's Spy Blimps Over Afghanistan

LEMV: Not Your Father's Blimp Lockheed Martin

Military Struggles To Find Helium For Spy Blimp Surge -- Danger Room

The U.S. military is sending so many spy blimps to Afghanistan that industry is scrambling to supply helium and "cannot keep up with the increased demand" for the containers that hold the gas.

That's according to documents from the Defense Logistics Agency, the Pentagon office responsible for keeping vital supplies flowing to the warzone.

With their ability to stay in the air for days at a time — and hold more spy gear than any drone — aerostats and airships are quickly becoming surveillance tools of choice in the Afghan War. The military carried out three aerostat surges between last fall and this summer; several dozen are deployed in Afghanistan now. But really, that's just a scene-setter. Early next year, the U.S. military is planning to send not one, but two "freakishly large" airships to the skies above Afghanistan.
