Cav to announce 2012 team today...?

(© Mogens Engelund CC3.0) Are we about to finally find out with which team new World Champion Mark Cavendish will be riding in 2012 following the unfortunate demise of HTC-Highroad? Rumours are circulating that we'll be enlightened at some point today. For several weeks now, the greater part of the cycling world has considered it all but a foregone conclusion that he'll be going to Team Sky. Source - Cyclopunk

"I do say that I am in favor of the return of the guillotine and that is for the worst of the worst of the guilty."

Roseanne Barr is a comedian. It's irrelevant whether you find this funny or not. She's laboring in the field of comedy:
"I first would allow the guilty bankers to pay, you know, the ability to pay back anything over $100 million [of] personal wealth because I believe in a maximum wage of $100 million. And if they are unable to live on that amount of that amount then they should, you know, go to the reeducation camps and if that doesn't help, then being beheaded," Barr said with a straight face.
Comedy is hard. She's cranking up the hyperbole to higher and higher levels, maintaining the deadpan all the way. Do not revile her in her suffering.

ADDED:

If the government took 100% of your income above $100 million, at what point would you slack off?
I'd go on and on, making money, even once the government began taking every dime.
I'd work right up to the $100 million, and then, no more.
I'd start slacking off at around $80 million and shutting down at $90 million.
I'd arc toward about $40 or 50 million and then lose focus on the earnings game.

Rensing takes positives from defeat

Cologne goalkeeper Michael Rensing believes the 3-0 defeat at Hertha Berlin will bring an air of normality back to the club after two straight wins.
Rensing feels that there was a bit too much euphoria around the club after a 4-1 win at Bayer Leverkusen was followed by a 2-0 win over Hoffenheim, and yesterday's defeat was therefore not such a bad thing.
"We have got to be realistic," he told Sky television. "We are not Bayern Munich or Barcelona and we cannot expect to win every week."
Nevertheless, Rensing remains pleased with the progress Cologne have made after a di [...]

Ads are just answers

When CafePress first started printing shirts in 1999, online retail was still a nascent industry and Google had yet to sell its first ad. Soon CafePress started selling products through search ads on Google, and their business took off. Today, CafePress hosts millions of shops online where customers can choose from more than 325 million products on nearly any topic, from wall art to phone cases.

Just as CafePress has broadened its offerings over time, we've also worked to improve and expand our search advertising products. What started as three lines of simple text has evolved into ads that are multimedia-rich, location-aware and socially-amplified.

Today CafePress uses Sitelinks to direct people to specific pages of their website, helping customers find what they're looking for faster. On average, ads with three rows of links, or three-line Sitelinks, are more than 50 percent likely to get clicked on than ads without Sitelinks. More than 200,000 advertisers have joined CafePress in using Sitelinks in at least one campaign.

Monday at Advertising Week in New York City, I'll be talking about how advertisers have been quick to adopt these new formats since we first began experimenting nearly two years ago. Businesses from the smallest retailer in Idaho to the largest Fortune 500 company in New York have seen how these innovations in [...]
