Applications in the prescribed format are invited for the following positions from bright and eligible Indian Nationals with excellent and consistent academic record, a high degree of motivation and propose to take up research in Earth Science as a career:

• Scientist Fellow Range-1:Rs.31000/32550/34100/35650/37200
• Qualifications : Ph.D. in Science or Engineering (or) M.Tech. / ME (Engineering)
• Age : Below 40 years as on the last date prescribed. (Desirable below 30 years) 
• Emoluments: Fixed/consolidated at any stage in Range-1 with 5% annual increase in the emoluments, if otherwise eligible
• Scientist Fellow Range-2:Rs.36000/37800/39600/41400/43200
• Qualifications: Ph.D. in Science or Engineering (or) M.Tech. / ME (Engineering) with three years research experience
