The day Janmashtami celebrate in India because of at that day in past around 5000 years ago Hindu god Lord Krishna was born at night 12:00 O'clock. So that in India Hindu people celebrate the day as Janmashtami and all other people like Muslim, Sikh, and also celebrate with Hindu people.
