After the thundering success of his adult comedy Delhi Belly, Imraan Khan's next is a romantic comedy titled as Mere Brother Ki Dulhan. The film pairs him opposite Katrina Kaif for the first time. Pakistani singer Ali Zafar, who made his Bollywood debut with Tere Bin Laden, plays a significant role in the film.
Mere Brother Ki Dulhan is written and directed by debutant Ali Abbas Zafar. The film is produced by Aditya Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Films. Zafar has been an assistant director on a number of Yash Raj Films productions such as Jhoom Barabar Jhoom and Badmaash Company.
Mere Brother Ki Dulhan is a love triangle story between the three lead actors - Imraan, Katrina and Ali Zafar. Imran plays a character who falls in love with the fiancee (Katrina) of his brother, played by Ali Zafar.
Sohail Sen has scored the music for the film while lyrics are by Irshad Kamil. Sudeep Chatterjee is the director of photography and Ritesh Soni is the editor.
